Dual Language Immersion

Grapevine Elementary is a 50/50 Dual Language Immersion school that offers DLI istruction  from Tk-5th grade. Grapevine has taken the lead in DLI programming for Vista Unified School District. The goal of our DLI program is for students to achieve strong levels of academics in all subject areas, help students become bilingual and bileterate in both English and target language (Spanish) and to value cultural diversity. 

At Grapevine, we welcome and accept everyone. We know how important it is to celebrate other peoples’ cultures, and all the great things that make the United States a great nation. Being a multicultural school and community is a great benefit for all our students and families. It is important to celebrate each other’s cultures under the same flag and we will continue to provide opportunities for this throughout the school year.
