Welcome to Grapevine Elementary

Our school first opened in 1962. Our current enrollment is at around 750 students. The majority of our students come from the Grapevine/Emerald/Olive areas. Our demographics are 83% Hispanic, 10% White and 7% of other racial/ ethnic groups.  We offer competitive and rich programs from Preschool to fifth grade with highly qualified staff.  We welcome everyone at Grapevine!

Grapevine Elementary is a 50/50 Two-Way Dual Language school. Grapevine Elementary is the district’s flagship school for Dual Language Immersion and it is also the model school for Multi-Tiered Systems of Supprts  (MTSS) , Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), and Guided Learning Aquisition Design (GLAD) implementation. In addition to these three school wide initiatives, Grapevine Elementary also has a robust and well recognized music program and has been identified as a Community School recipient starting in the school year 23-24 and concluding in 28-29 for a total of five years. Moreover, discussions about the possibility of making Grapevine Elementary a magnet school are underway and at least three community forums, led by Dr. Doyle, Dr. Chagala and Mr. Rafa Olavide, were held in May and June of 2023.
